Betty Kane, LMBT #6222 is a NC licensed massage therapist and bodyworker, who is board certified through the BCTMB.  Since 2006, she has been providing massage in the Triangle area.  

Betty is a 2005 graduate of The Medical Arts Massage school - Gwinnett College where she specialized in therapeutic /medical massage.  

Betty's massage skills in several modalities facilitate a customized therapeutic massage for her clients.  Her skills were gained by working with a diverse clientele ranging from individuals seeking relaxation, those who have repetitive strain, athletes seeking support for training regimens, those working toward fitness goals, and those who have are preparing and recovering from surgery.  Betty is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in the Vodder technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).  She has advanced training in MLD for post-op plastic surgery procedures. She has experice working with clients who have had plastic and cosmetic surgeries such as tummy tucks, Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL's), mastectomies, lumpectomies, as well as liposuction.

Betty has worked in a hospital wellness center for six years.  Betty has had experience providing home health care services.  She has also worked in spas, holistic medical centers and on-site at sporting events.

In addition to her western massage training, Betty received training in Traditional Thai Medical Massage, with intensive training in Chang Mai, Thailand in 1996.  This training enables a translation of benefits of Eastern massage to those more familiar with Western modalities.
