My name is Lacy Grace Doyle Apfelbeck, and I am the owner and principal therapist at Angel’s Touch Massage Therapy in Medford, WI. I practiced in Medford, WI from 2001 -2019. I currently am on a three-year leave but continue to uphold my Board Certification and WI License.  My specialty is chronic and acute pain relief, using techniques from my training in CranioSacral Therapy, NeuroMuscular massage and Myo Trigger Point Therapy. CranioSacral, Trigger Point and NeuroMuscular massage are different from other types of massage therapy you may have experienced. They rely on precise techniques to free up muscle adhesions, unblock nerve pathways and restore the body to its natural craniosacral rhythm. The results can be astonishing with a wide range of issues, including sciatica, whiplash, rotator cuff issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, migraines, plantar fasciitis, knee, leg and low back pain. CranioSacral, NeuroMuscular and Myo Trigger Point massage can also help children with a variety of issues, including ADHD, scoliosis, headaches, muscle and stomach aches and pain. I spend the first part of every appointment listening carefully to client concerns and gathering as much information around their health and lifestyle as possible. This helps me better understand their issues and what course of therapy I believe will offer the best chance for relief. Depending on the modalities that will be used during treatment, some clients remain fully clothed while lying down on the table, sitting in a chair, or if the client is a child, we might even do play therapy on the floor. When the best course of treatment calls for direct contact with the skin, the highest standards of professionalism is followed.and the client is appropriately draped at all times.
