For nearly 30 years, Mary Shields has supported thousands of clients and students through deep transformation.   Mary is a former professor, holding a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Hebrew Scriptures from Emory University.  Her love for learning, combined with life-long spiritual and mystical experiences, prepared her well for learning to work with the language of the Heart.   However, it was through healing her own childhood trauma that Mary learned to heal. Her training in seminary and chaplaincy work gave her Western knowledge and tools to deal with trauma.  Eventually she moved on to become an Advanced BodyTalk Practitioner and Instructor and Reiki Master/Teacher, where she added to her Western training and combined it with  knowledge and tools from Eastern perspectives.  Finally, working with a gifted shamanic practitioner, who also had deep knowledge of both Western and Eastern approaches to trauma, enabled her to integrate all of her knowledge and training in order to both speak and teach the language of the Heart. She finds great joy in enabling  people to find and live their fullest potential by learning the language of the Heart.   

Modalities include various holistic healing modalities and approaches, including Shamanic work (the Wounded Healer path), Reiki (she is a Reiki Master/Teacher), BodyTalk (she is an Advanced Certified BodyTalk Practitioner and Instructor), Access Consciousness, and Spiritual Direction, to name a few.
