Early on in my career, I started with high and low volume spas, honing in my skills with every session. The goal was and remains to expand my understanding of the human form and how to expertly apply massage modalities. After building a strong spa massage, I found my self eager for a larger challenge. A gym became my new environment, affording me the chance to work expand on  the many aspects of sports massage. During this time, expanded further to work in a chiropractic office. This allowed me access to more challenging bodies, affording me to expand my medical massage experience. The next step for me was to teach. I spent time teaching massage therapy with a small school The Lotus Signature Massage School(Now called The Lotus and the Light Metaphysical Center. This experience allowed me to dive deeper into massage therapy, to really understand manual manipulation of soft tissues. I discovered a deep love for educating individuals about anatomy and physiology from the massage therapist perspective. The next step was a step into DC's oldest and largest Spa Deluca Bodywork and Massage. This was short-lived due to Covid-19. Facing layoff, I spent time studying Hatha Yoga, leading to a Certified Yoga Teaching Certification. The marriage of massage therapy and yoga is incredibly beautiful. When the world began to open up, I found my current space in Tysons Corner, The Yulli Therapeutic Healing Center. This has been a high point in my career. Manual lymphatic drainage, Scar tissue, Pre/Postnatal soon were added to my arsenal of modalities. I now reside in Western Massachusetts, practicing in Amherst, at the Hampshire Athletic Club. I love massage therapy and wish to only continue growing and teaching. Thank you for taking the time. Peace
