Melody was the manager and primary massage therapist of Mixed Traditions Massage and Bodywork, in Tumon, Guam and Yokosuka, Japan, and is now in Kaneohe, Hawaii.  She has a longstanding interest in yoga, natural healing, holistic health care and education in all facets of life.  In 2003 she was able to begin formal study of massage and bodywork in Australia, Thailand and Florida.  In 2004 and 2005 she was self employed as a part time massage therapist and as an independent contractor for the Kimane Salon and Spa in Pompano Beach Florida, while also working as a teacher and later as Director of Studies at the Florida Language Center in Ft Lauderdale. From 2005 through 2009 Melody ran her own massage business, Thai Touch Massage & Bodywork, LLC, in Anchorage Alaska while also teaching children with special needs. 2010-2012 Melody had her own business as a massage therapist and worked part-time at Jiivana Spa, Pacific Islands Club Resort, in Guam. 2012-2014 in Yokosuka Japan she taught private English language lessons, English to Japanese workers at the adult language school (DLI – Defense Language Institute) in the SRF (Ship Repair Facility) on the US Naval base, and Special Education at Sullivans’ Elementary School. She also had her own business as a massage therapist for SOFA Personnel only.
