ABMP Publications
Massage & Bodywork
The award-winning
Massage & Bodywork magazine,
www.massageandbodywork.com,
published six times a year, is included in membership
and continues to earn praise for the breadth of its editorial content.
This four-color magazine is 150-plus pages, with up-to-the-minute resources for professionals who want
to deliver the very best products and services to their customers. It is chock-full of
articles on new modalities and trends, practical information on operating a practice, and
information on continuing education and new products. So valuable is this resource that more
than 1,000 general-interest articles on everything from Acupressure to Zen have been made
available free to the public at
www.massagetherapy.com.
A digital version of
Massage & Bodywork magazine was launched in August 2009, the first to be offered by a major massage membership association.
Skin Deep
Many massage therapists have also received training and licensing as skin care professionals.
In response to members’ requests to cover skin care work, ABMP began providing coverage for
estheticians in 2001. A sister organization, Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP), was launched in January 2007 to meet the needs of the nation’s more than 185,000 skin care professionals, including those who are dual-licensed members of ABMP.
