About Carolyn and the Services She Offers:

Carolyn Brandon is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a Licensed Bodyworker, an award-winning artist and writer, and a Grandmother. 

She specializes in somatic based trauma healing modalities and pain management.

Her focus is on the process of healing issues of childhood abuse & neglect; early attachment & dissociation; shock and developmental trauma.

 

She also leads The Somatic Therapy Playground Tribe ™.

These monthly study groups are for psychotherapists who wish to build and integrate somatic skills into their practice.

Group and private consultations are also available.

 

In her private practice, she brings her innate skills as an empath and blends it with a toolbox of over thirty years of studies at the forefront of Somatics, Bodywork modalities, Bodynamics, Psychology, Mythology, Shamanism, the healing of Trauma and Dissociation, Energy Work, Neurobiology, and the Expressive Arts.

She weaves together the gifts of direct experience, which includes the art of the intuitive and the grounded knowledge of the sciences. This in turn offers her clients a comprehensive approach to healing.

For clients in a psychotherapeutic process, she offers her adjunctive services.

She has several years experience working jointly with psychotherapists.

This collaboration between psychotherapy and somatic therapies is being employed in a number of advanced trauma centers worldwide.

SE can be incorporated with touch therapy techniques and body-based Ego-State work, and is offered as an independent therapeutic modality. 

Carolyn's work is in service to people interested in living awakened lives.

She is known for her attunement and compassion, her sense of humor, love of the ocean, and for baking really great cookies.
