Using Jin Shin TARA (a.k.a. The TARA Approach) energy balancing, I serve women who want to heal and grow from the unresolved trauma affecting their bodies, minds, and spirits.  I have seventeen years experience serving clients with PTSD from a  broad spectrum of trauma including childhood physical, emotional and sexual abuse, adult sexual assault and domestic violence, accident trauma, mild traumatic brain injury, and war trauma (including military sexual assault).  I also treat cancer patients before, during, and after their chemo and radiation treatment.

For ten years I served as the Jin Shin acupressure practitioner for rigorous clinical research studies evaluating the effectiveness of Jin Shin post-stroke, for mild traumatic brain injury, for stress and for military PTSD. These studies were conducted by the Psychology and Neuroscience Department at the University of Colorado.  Funders included the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, the Colorado Brain Trust, and Veterans Helping Veterans Now (VHVNow).

Other CU Boulder-funded Jin Shin acupressure projects I have worked under include co-producing the www.iteaplus.com website app about acupressure self-care, co-creating aimated Jin Shin self-care videos for CU students, and in early 2019 will train student wellness peer coaches in how to guide students in using these resources.

I see clients in Boulder, Colorado and the North Fork Valley on the Western Slope in Colorado (including the towns and cities of Paonia, Hotchkiss, Crawford, and Delta, Colorado).

I am an advanced Jin Shin TARA practitioner.
