I believe that when you touch the body, you touch the entire nervous system. My philosophy of healing and bodywork is to approach each person as a unique individual with unique needs, which could be different on any given day.

?

My road to bodywork began as the child of a mother in medical school, when I learned to be fascinated by anatomy. As a dance student, I re-discovered my deep interest in the body when I became injured and used self-massage as part of my recovery process. Besides a grounding in anatomical knowledge, I believe in being open, present and curious about what is happening for the client, both somatically and emotionally.

?

I studied at San Francisco School of Massage, and continue taking courses to help support my clients in new ways, learning the latest available research. My continuing education journey has included advanced deep tissue training with Art Riggs, Craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute at Esalen and somatic therapy with the Hakomi Institute.

?

My approach to bodywork includes deep listening and attunement combined with deep knowledge of anatomical structures.  No two clients are alike, and no two sessions are alike.
