Help Celebrate Massage Is for EveryBody Week, July 20–26

Join Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) in celebrating Massage Is for EveryBody Week, July 20–26, 2025, a national initiative designed to bring massage therapy to marginalized communities, highlight the benefits of massage, and celebrate the good work massage therapists and bodyworkers across the country are doing every day.

Now in its 30th year, Massage Is for EveryBody Week was born from grassroots efforts to ensure that this hands-on work is not seen as a luxury for the few, but a powerful therapeutic opportunity for all.

To celebrate during Massage Is for EveryBody Week, massage therapy practitioners in every state find ways to bring their work to those who may never have experienced therapeutic massage before, all while working to broaden awareness of the benefits of massage therapy and preaching the value of self-care. Whether offering chair massage at Pride Fest, providing services to a women’s shelter or veteran’s support group, or advocating for a local nonprofit through donations collected during the week, massage therapists pour their philanthropic, heart-centered spirit into this celebration each year.

This annual July event is part of the bigger Massage Is for EveryBody mission—a year-round ABMP campaign built on the guiding principles of inclusion, serving the underserved, self-care, and community education.

Massage therapy schools, clinics, and practitioners across the country will be participating this year. Is your massage therapist planning an event for Massage Is for EveryBody week? Ask how you can support them and their efforts and make a difference in your community.
