I received my intial massage training with Bob Oliver at Ralston School of Massage in Reno, Nevada in 1999-2000. I completed a 175-hour externship in sports massage. Our school partnered with the Athletic Department at the University of Nevada, Reno. We worked with the swimming & diving, track & field, and tennis teams. I met Bob when I was coaching the diving team. 

Bob invited me to teach at Ralston soon after I graduated. I started out teaching the anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology classes. In 10 years of teaching at Ralston, I eventually taught 22 of the 34 classes. I especially enjoyed teaching the muscle class. 

I moved to California in 2013 and tutored college students in anatomy & physiology before moving to Chico in 2017. I helped open the new Chico Massage School in 2020. 

My own practice focuses on therapeutic massage with a gentle approach. I like to work gradually layer-by-layer. I combine myofascial techniques, deep tissue, trigger point, ashiatsu, and sports massage as needed.
