Helping others achieve physical well-being, eliminate stress and experience their mind/body balance is a long time passion of mine. My work as a massage therapist is extremely fullfilling; I love seeing clients improve under my expertise, whether over a single hour or over months of steady treatment.

Continuing education is exremely imporant to me. I earned a certificate from Irene's Myomassology Institute, a nationally accredited school located in Southfield, Michigan. I am licensed in the state of Michigan and am trained in varies healing techniques that include Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal massage, reflexology, stretching, myofascial release, trigger/pressure point therapy, muscle mechanics and energy work. 

I have also pursued training in alternative medical treatments such as aromatherapy and herbology, in conjuction with education in nutrition, yoga, tai-chi, qigong, kung fu and meditation. I am continuously learning and staying up to date with the newest techniques and modalities to enhance my knowledge and further my practice. 

Creativity and curiousity about the world are very important to me: I express myself through photography, painting and other visual arts. I love to poke around seeking treasures at antique shops and flea markets and I travel to new places as often as I can.

 

Most of all, I honestly practice what I preach: I watch what I eat, get massaged, excerise and stretch on a regular basis. I take pride in helping my clients to be as relaxed, stress-free, pain-free and balanced as possible!
