Halima believes that a majority of issues that people live with can be alleviated or healed altogether by bodywork and an individualized wellness plan. Massage should be considered regular maintenance, like an oil change for your body! 

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, she has always shown an interest in helping and healing people. Being a second generation massage therapist, she had the advantage of growing up regularly receiving massage, which gave her the opportunity to learn and adapt the techniques that she preferred. She also has been giving massages to friends and family since childhood, and was capable of giving a full hour of massage at the tender age of six.

She had the pleasure of learning under Alex Matthews, one of the main lobbyists of massage therapy legislation in Texas, as well as an extensively educated instructor. Halima is always researching and learning new ways to improve and has been certified to practice since 2003.  

After years of working at area spas and providing outcall massages, Halima has gone into business for herself. She has rented a space within The Spring Center for Natural Medicine, and has decorated it to offer a soothing environment to complement the massage. Clients now have the option of choosing to get housecalls or come in to her professional space. Come help her get established!
